5 out of 5 stars Fabulous Full-sized Lightweight Stroller   January 5, 2009
Brittny Hansen (Provo, UT United States)
Our baby hasn't come yet so we can't try it out with an actual baby yet, but we got this yesterday and LOVE it! It was really easy to put together and to figure out how to fold it up and expand it. It's very lightweight and easy to carry around. I'm a fairly petite person so it was important to me that it had a light frame for me to carry around. It still has all of the features that I was looking for in a full-sized stroller while being compact. There's a really good video demonstration at the Combi website: http://www.combi-intl.com/

4 out of 5 stars Great Lightweight Stroller!!!   December 21, 2008
K. Smith
I bought this stroller to travel out of town for Christmas. I have a travel system but wanted something lightweight that would be easy to take through the airport. Haven't left yet but this stroller is so great I take it out for everyday use. It's lightweight, easy to open and close and comfortable (my daughter will even nap in it). It's not easy to maneuver with one hand and there is no parent tray to put drinks, etc. There is however a small bag (with a strap and is removable) that hangs off the back. There are 2 pockets on the front, one of which I found expands and can hold a fountain drink. The basket underneath is small and not much use for anything but a small bag (it has a bar that goes through the middle). Also has a strap on the back to carry on your shoulder when folded up.

5 out of 5 stars Fabulous Lightweight Stroller   December 10, 2008
Kimberly N (Cocoa Beach, Florida United States)
I can't say enough about how much I like this stroller. My last stroller was very expensive, and very heavy. I finally got sick of hauling it in and out of the car, and having it take up almost the entire back of my SUV. This Combi stroller takes up a fraction of the space and is so light! My 1 yr old son who is 24 lbs is very comfortable in it - he has plenty of growing room and he loves to keep his feet up on the cross bar. The 2 holders on this bar for his drink or snacks is very helpful. I did add a $10 buggy buddy to hold my drinks, keys, etc in the back. A plastic, fixed parent try does not work on this Combi because it would restrict how tightly it folds up. The basket underneath is not huge, but not super tiny either. The stroller is stable enough that I hang the diaper bag over the handle bars anyways.

This is a great stroller if you are looking for the best comfort you can get in a minimal lightweight size. Steering is not perfect, but 10X better than a cheap umbrella stroller. The steering is as good as my old $300 Britax stroller anyways.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent steering -- just needs oiling. Excellent build quality.   December 8, 2008
Eugene I. Kim (Glendale, AZ)
We were trying several of these compact strollers at Babies R Us. The demo unit had stiff steering, and I also read a complaint here about bad steering. We needed something smaller than our Peg Perego, and this seemed all around best except for the stiff steering. Went home, opened the parts, and found the front wheels easily snap in/out with a push button. Just added a few drops of oil, snapped it back on, and the steering is as good if not better than our Peg Perego. Peg Perego was a pain to un/fold, and the straps were very difficult to put on. Combi Helio is more compact, very easy to un/fold, and the belt straps are much easier to use on our child.

Contrary to what I read from another review here, build quality is actually excellent. Sales person recommended this over McLaren when we told him that we will be traveling. Combi survived the flights with no problems, while our $500+ Peg Perego was damaged in several areas (lost buttons, damaged folding mechanism, loose screws, etc) from previous flights. Very satisfied with the purchase; we should never have bought Peg Perego in the first place.

3 out of 5 stars I return it   November 11, 2008
U. Farrell (Oceanside, CA USA)
The product arrived pretty quick. It's very lightweight and compact but it's not stirdy. The seating area is too small and not deep enough for my boy. He is only 12 month (27LB and 30" long). No way he can sleep in there without his legs hang out too far.
I thought I want to have something that can handle my boy till 3 year old. The plastic wheels are flimpsy. They turn easy but not the direction you want to go so I return it.
