I love both the original and chocolate Amazing Grass Superfood Powder. I prefer this one for the days I want something little heavier, like chocolate "milk", or for when the grassy taste of the original flavour is a little too much. It gives a super shot of sustained energy - I chug a glass of this every day right before work and I'm set to go. The energy doesn't drop me like coffee and I know I'm beefing up on my day's veggie & fruit requirements. I do, if you've never taken it before, recommend drinking one scoop a day until you feel comfortable enough to increase it if you feel you need it. The energy was a little much to handle for my boyfriend and a couple friends all of whom never had it before.

i use 2 scoops daily because one isn't enough...well, 8 oz. isn't enough - i like at least 16 oz of this because it's chocolatey good. i add a bit of agave nectar and shake both scoops with about 2-3 oz of almond milk to dilute the powder well before adding the rest of the milk.

I tried this w/o any fruit or protein powder and the taste was a little too "healthy". However, I add protein powder and berries, usually blueberries, and it's delicious w/just a hint of chocolate flavor. It's a great way to sneak in those servings of veggies that are not so easy to get in when you're in a rush and on the go. My daughter says it smells like chocolate, so even though the flavor is pretty well hidden to me, the natural cocoa comes through in the aroma.
