The perfect dishwand topper... July 25, 2008

For a while we were buying the scrubber ones, but the tops kept separating from the sponge. Once we switched, we realized that the scrub top was unneccesary anyway- we just use a scouring pad for our tough dishes and these work great for everyday.

Definitely get this instead of the 'scrub wand refill'! The 'dish wand' head lacks the scrubby bit at the end, but it lasts much longer due to the one-piece construction. We use it all the time for items that won't or can't go in the dishwasher. We keep a separate plastic scrubby thing (similar to steel wool, but not) handy for items that need it.

These are by far the best dish wands I have ever used. The size and shape make it easy to clean most glasses/dishes and as long as you are careful not to slit the sponge when washing knives, each "head" will hold up a fairly long time, giving this product a decent amount of bang-for-the-buck. When it does come time to replace the head (or refill the wand with soap), the twist-off top is very easy to handle and stays snug until you open it again. Great product.
